If agger is coming out of pre season fit and well i'd stick him in CB position, he has better pace then skittles. I'd stick him next to Carra for sure, hopefully we'll fill then RB position over the summer and all will be well! Skertle is a cracking player but i think he's being groomed for more of a solid carra role!?

All things being equal Skrtel and Carra are stoppers; Agger and Hyypia ball players.

To me Agger is first choice. Early season Carra for continuity, gradually transitioning to Skrtel. Skrtel will still get games, but for the really big ones we need to rely on Carra.

Skittle has been awesome but Agger is a proper footballing centre half, and he will get goals.

Carra is a rock, and above all else is an organiser, I'm sure he and agger will both be rested and Skittle will get his fair share of games.

I dont think you need two good central defenders going forward. We showed at the start of the season and after we got Skrtel that as long as one of them can bring the ball out and has speed we do well.

I think Carra needs to be there, not only is he solid, but he is the best organisor of the back line.

Agger is the best ball playing central defender we have.

Then again Skertle reminds me more of Vidic every time he plays, and he's probably the quickest we have.

Eventually Agger and Skertle will be first choice, but probably only to lift numbers 21 & 22, while Agger and Carra are around for 19 & 20.

Carra & Skittle to start, Agger to vye with Skittle over the season & look towards a long-term partnership. Carra looks like he could do with a rest anyway.
