I do agree but I thought he'd only been banned. It's very disquieting to find out he's actually been done to death..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I am sure it won't, but back on topic - I would like to see one maybe even two pacey wingmen added - I don't care whether they are cheap or if they are pricey.Originally posted by marcus50bucks View PostHe's a bit of a pratt but banning him for life is taking the piss if you ask me. He's extremely negative but but I respect him for holding his own and I also respect his views.
I hope this site doesn't turn into kraptalk whereby peeps get banned life right & centre for silly things.
Overlapping fullbacks are a must too. ;-)"Sir, it's me sir. Jennings sir."

Deggen is a risk. Unproven at the top level. At least Boswinga has been able to compete in the Champions League and pit himself against the top players. He is much more likely to succeed at the top level than Deggen. We can't afford more passengers like we had in the semi-final.
At this point in Rafa's Liverpool project why is he taking a risk? If he doesn't have the money he should come out and shame the owners.

Dunno why but i'm expecting Degen to be more of a Voronin.
If he's so good why were no other TOP teams after him? surely Dortmund would have fought tooth and nail to keep him? You generally pay for top quality (maybe not signing fee but certainly wages).
We're shopping in the pound shop/extra value section again
We come not to play.

Won't actually make any difference though will it. Other than probably getting him the sack. He's just got to make the best of a bad job. Let's face it if there's no money it'll be obvious come the end of the transfer window.Originally posted by vonk View PostDeggen is a risk. Unproven at the top level. A vague hope is that this time last year we were linked with players like Yossi and next thing we know Torres and Babel are on there way. Let's hope Rafa is getting the cheap pieces of business out of the way while seeing what he can get for those leaving before going for his main target(s).The Crushing Machine MKII

i can never remember bosingwa being a standout player for porto. a higher transfer fee doesnt necessarily mean a better player
two examples;
agger - 6mil carvalho - 19 mil
arbeloa - 2.5 mil ferriera - 14 mil“At a football club, there’s a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques”. Bill Shankly

Must admit his signing doesn't set the pulse raising but given the low expectation levels surely the only way is up.
He is regarded as a good attacking right back and that is something that would definitely benefit us.A humble guy with healthy desire.

Yeah, and I bet you were saying the same thing when we were linked with Agger and Skrtel.Originally posted by vonk View PostDeggen is a risk. Unproven at the top level.
