Anyway, Im a 'Enforcer' junkie. Centre Half, Right/Left Back or Centre Mid. It dont matter so long as they tackle good and strong.
So how good are you? The real measure of success is how many legs you have broken. That's the metric I use. But hey I'm playing againsy Americans, they get pissed off when you do slide tackles

Mascher is without doubt a good and strong tackler! I'd ****ing hate to play against him

edit - I'm not sure i've seen him lose a tackle either. He ALWAYS gets the ball

When we played West Ham at Anfield, they brought on Dean Ashton. I was in my usual spec in the Kop and I saw Mascher come running over to by Ashton. Mascher stopped in his tracks and you could see on his face he was thinking '****in hell the size of him'. The people by me saw it also and started to laugh. Anyway 2 mins later the ball was with Ashton then BAM, **** off, get down. Mascher had him. It was as if to say 'Yeah ok mate, you had your one go of scaring me, thats it now lad, **** all down for you'. So so funny.

I believe El Jefecito is a god. If not at the very least he is a demi-god

You guys maybe going homo on torres, but I'm going homo on El Jefecito. We're all set for 10 years
Shame he didn't hold it against Manure.

What makes Mascherano so special is that in the big, hard world of the Premiership - this physically small player can boss bigger, stronger men and make them look ****.

Yep, his statue should be a massive shortcoming for him, against blokes 2-3st heavier and perhaps 8 inches taller however he's used this to make him even more focused on becoming the best midfielder he can be.

gerrard came on as a sub in his 1st derby and got red carded fr snappin kevin cambel in 2 he learnt from it and so will mascha, atleast he had the balls to come out apologise to the team and fans and said he will learn from it and keep his mouth shut in future....

that is what should be more important than 1 sending off is the fact that he has learnt from his own mistakes and has gotten better for it

I dunno- Masher is undoubtedly short- 5'7" - 5'9" depending on what you believe, but most stats have him down as a chunker at about 13stone-ish, which is really pretty heavy for a footy player, especially at that size. So you would expect him to be pretty tough in the tackle.

Awesome player tho aye- right up there with Torres.
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.
