Excellent news, the man is credited with sorting out the zonal system and being a great fella to have around. If true id be delighted.

Ya he was supposed to be very good at helping the players understand it at the time.
He also was great with the kids and got the likes of Pongolle,Mellor and Le Tallec Milan loser medals. Rafa mentioned the other day about conceding so many goals from set pieces last year. I expect Pellegrino to do alot of work on this when he joins up.

He's there to watch a youth tournament (BFF 200.

He also watched the Brazilian U16 and U18 teams in a tournament in Ibiza about a month ago (Lucas Leiva's father was also there, as a member of the Brazil staff).

There are rumours that a few of the players went directly from Ibiza to Liverpool for trial, and that at least one is offered a contract.

It was in one of the Sunday papers today about Pellegrino returning and him being popular with the players.

He seemed like a solid guy. Great gesture with the medals for the youth players, I expect he is doing some sort of apprenticeship for a badge of some sort. Rafa might snazzle him up if he likes his coaching.

Don't be so negative. Pellegrino filled a gap in cover when he was a player and did an excellent job in coaching some of our players.

He may not have been a playing legend but you've got to be blind to suggest that he only had the impact of a Biscan or a Meijer to our team.

Liverpool have more than 70 scouts spread around the world. We'll have scouts watching every tournament all over the world
