Schmiechel, certainly when talking about goalkeeping and defensless parts of the game was very good - iirc when he first started he seemed all over the place, maybe nerves speaking a foreign language on tv - but he was good to watch and i said 100x better than some of the ****ing idiots you see each week

He's a not a good pundit. Well not here in Denmark. He's covering the danish Champions League coverage on TV3 - http://www.tv3.dk/chl. Getting around £ 200.000 pr year

He and Brian Laudrup always critised Liverpool everytime we played in the Champions League.. calling us pooring, without a passion, lucky cos the other played bad etc.....This kept going for a few weeks with Laudrup and Schmeicel ranting LFC everytime we played and sometimes calling Rafa "a medicore manager". Then guess what! Danish TV3 was bombarded with protest e-mails and phone calls from reds around the country wanting those 2 pricks stop their biased agenda against Liverpool. Then on live coverage, Schmeicel apologised and said that he didn't hate Liverpool. Must have been humiliating moment for him
