    United Tickets

Sorry Mods, know there is a designated forum and have already posted there, but who looks at the tickets forum this time of year? Tickets are already gonna be pricey, but if I can get some quick ticket suggestions, maybe I can book early and save on flights.

I know it’s a bit early, but as part of my Brother’s wedding present I am going to try and get him tickets to the United match.

I doubt we’ll be able to get a ticket through normal avenues so I have accepted having to pay a bit extra. At the minute I’m considering paying for a coach tour just for the ticket and then making my own travel arrangements.

Before I do, does anyone have any other suggestions or know any reliable sites online that sell tickets at a relatively decent price?

I’ll probably order this new fan card that came out, but doubt that there will be many tickets going on the exchange.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Plenty of places will be selling them for about £150 each, the 'respectable' touts such as www.soldouteventtickets.com or www.1st4footballtickets.com

Thanks Barnes, already noticed them and like most they are looking £300 - £400. There at least six of us going, and £2400 is a bit steep to see a match, especially with a wedding on the horizon.

You'd probably save some money by holding the wedding in a registry office, or maybe a church, instead.

          Hope this helps.

Anywhere in the stadium. Even if we had two tickets to get us started, then at least we could get the groom to the match.

            Cheers!

Too late. It's already booked, in bloody Cyprus. That's why he's not doing a proper stag, it's already costly enough getting to the actual wedding.

I assumed the excess cost was due to holding the wedding on the horizon.
I may have misinterpreted your dilemma.

Oh dear, sometimes it's embarrassing when you miss a joke. Sometimes you're just glad.

                  That was awful!

Never good when a smart arsed comment is taken at face value by a much more sincere poster than yourself.

There's plenty more where that came from.
                      Really.

My sincerity has been praised by everyone from Simon Bates to Tony Blair.
                      It is beyond reproach.

My smart-arsery admittedly needs a bit more work.

Oh God, Mods please close this thread. I'll take my chances in the ticket forum.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                          Mine angry and defrauded young?
