    Maybe so but even a little under his best he was still one of our best players. For arguments sake lets say he was a bit tired with having to play pretty much every game with Sami till Skrtel signed in Jan. He had his lung injury, arguably has to do more running when partnered with Sami and had to contend with all of this for around 4-5 months. I still don't think it was as serious a dip in form as is being made out however.

      It's just the same as winning a 5-aside or any other practice game. We have had great seasons when we have lost almost all our pre-seasons against **** teams. It really is just a fitness test and a chance to look at some of the fringe/young players. I wouldn't look in to the result at all really.
