Pacheco has clearly been better in pre-season and he's played more games, he's impressed me but it seems you've made this thread as a "why isn't Babel playing better" type thing.

Who said that? And when was that said? I can only ever recall Didi Hamann being called the laziest trainer in the world

Babel is pretty much unrivaled in the squad as a wide player and probably second striker now with Torres until signings come in.

Pacheco is behind Torres, Babel, Voronin, Kyut, Nemeth and whoever else is signed in the pecking order as a striker.

So answer is Bable as he is 3-4 years ahead in his devevlopment than Pacheco. Both will be Lengends when their 35+.

Pacheco I has to be said looks absolute quality for a lad so young he looks right at home in a Liverpool Senior side. I would love to see him get some bench time this season perahps a few runs outs. Definitely some domestic cup games. That said he will probally go out on loan and who ever gets him with have a little diamond on there hands ...

Think this little fella will eventually break into the senior side

Voting for Babel in this poll is absurd. He was a useless yesterday while Pacheco has played well in two games. The questions isn't who is the best player!

Think you've got you're wires crossed - Carra said that Hamann was the laziest in training and also he is the worst dressed. It's a really old interview and it appeared as a feature on the official website. They were basically asking him to name the best and worst awards... for fellow Liverpool player. I think it was 2007. Babel had not even arrived at the club when that interview was done

                    EDIT BY ME--

                    It was actually 2006! http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/archi...61221-1014.htm.

                    Best trainer?

Stevie and Alonso have got the best quality in training, they're good trainers. Hardest worker is probably me because I'm not that good! There's a lot of good trainers really. Didi was the worst but he's gone now so it's quite good. Robbie can be bad some days but he's a great finisher so if he's having a bad session he can just pop a few goals in the back of the net to get him out of trouble.

Also Crouch said the same thing in 2007:

who knows, maybe, hope so, but 2 yrs is a long time for a player.

As far as I can see the poll question doesn't even mention yesterday.
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I just think you can not compare the 2, we'd be better of comparing pacheo with say Spearing or Nemeth
