But aye, Darby looks a good prospect. Some of his tackling was early Momo style but he looks like he could have a future here which is quite rare for a LFC youth player.

Yeah pretty solid pre season so far, reminds me a little of Carra before he turned into captain fantastic

Looked good going forward. Not afraid to go in in a tackle either. Can't see him getting much action in the league, especially if Finnan stays. Probably get a run out in the Carling Cup.

Back to the point Darby looks like he may challenge for the RB spot this season, probally one season away from were he needs to be, but had impressed me this preseason

He is a good little player with a bright future. His goal saving tackle was Carraesque.
He is not confident on the ball yet though and he needs to bulk up a bit.
These run of games will have given him great hope, but he is a year or two off starting imo.

Good player, certainly an option for the bench and against the 'lesser' teams. Slowly break him in to the 1st team fold with a view to being the long term prospect at right back.
