in far more significant news from a fans point of view - and of more immediate concern - liverpool's main rivals will be at anfield as well on saturday for a game of football which realistically could define our season.

so you'd rather people sat on their hands?
most of the crowd will anyway, that's a given, but it's an ideal time to tell the bleepers what we think of them.
too good an opportunity to let go,just cos we playing the mancs.
they won't be over here when we play Stoke, so, think about it.

The Geordies are doing their bit to rid themselves of Ashley, was reading in the Mirror how local sponsors are not renewing, Executive boxes not selling, merchandising being targeted, fans groups co-operating with each other on a plan of action.
I don't think enough has been done by us in fairness, so i see this as a big opportunity to repeat our message to our ****ting Owners that we want them out.

Maybe they'll realise, for the first time, that they aren't actually very popular with the fans. Surely this awakening will prompt them to sell their shares at the earliest opportunity.

unless they're really ignorant im sure that they probably know that already.
a challenge that we all face today is that liverpool fc is one of the best supported clubs in the world and there are thousands of supporter groups and forums out there each with its own consensus on what should be done.
SOS have tried to become the official Liverpool supporters union and im not sure if they have the complete backing of all the fans.
Technically speaking to have 100% backing is impossible but do they even have 25% backing of all liverpool fans in the UK alone ?
Im not sure they do, i think they need to do more to unify all the sub-groups and forums for full backing and until that happens i dont think hicks and gillett are going to bothered one bit about anything we say or do.
