        No surprise there.

I expect to see Keane playing in the hole this time, with Gerrard attacking from deep and making some significant runs. Should be an absolute cracker this. Bring it!!!!

Hope they are fit though, and we won't be taking any silly risks.

                Fantastic news.

However bear in mind that they are not fully fit and a strong clue is in how Rafa said that are "in the squad" and not in the team. Which kind of suggests that they might not be fit enough to start such a fast paced match

That would be a pretty good idea if he's fit. Gerrard and Riera on the flanks, torres and keane upfront with Xabi and Mascherano in the middle. That's a strong from 6 in anyone's book.

Bloody oath! I would be ecstatic with that. If Torres isn't fit to start replace him with Kuyt and leave Gerrard on the right. Bring Babel on late if we need him.

TBH I have said this before, against the other "top 4" teams almost every game the midfield has negated each other so well the game is a boorfest and then Manu normally score late..

Play Gerrard on the right against MU and give him a license to roam.

It means there can be no excuses here now.

If we can't beat the mancs at Anfield tommorow with this squad then we never will.

I predict a 2-1 win for us and I pray that Keane get's one of them.

                          which would people prefer?

                          (a) a not fully fit torres playing with keane in a wide role

                          or

                          (b) no torres and keane playing striker with babel/riera and kuyt wide

i was actually looking forward to seeing keane in his best position

Torres was the more likely of the two to recover for the game but Gerrard could have really thrown them off course come Saturday lunchtime.
I wonder if saying they a both fit is a red herring.
