It's early days but a good debut. Great close control, tricks, direct...just needs to adjust to the physical side and I think he could be quite a player. Maybe.

i was chuffed wen i saw him, was very concerned about it to be honest but he looks very decent. Seems to always want to attack the full back and if not possible, then he keeps it simple..

It would be nice to think Rafa might deploy Babel on the right when we're looking to batter teams. (Nice but probably unlikely).

That is entirely the reason we should go overboard. We havn't had a Left sided midfielder who can do what you stated since I don't know when!

Sure we can't judge him on one game but hey, as people keep saying, football is about the moments, the here and now, so lets big him up!

yup the left side was superb, thought Fabio and Reira worked so well together.
As for Riera, I know it's only 1 game, but if the guy builds and improves on from this game then we will have a top star in our side. Great start and heres to much more
