The reason I posted this image is because I have very strong memories of another picture taken last March after the final whitle when they beat us 3 nil. In that pic Ferguson has the most smug look on his face and Rafa can't look at him. I worried whn I saw that that we'd never beat them and that Ferguson had it over Rafa, but now how the tables have turned.

The fact that we beat them without our two top men and no Agger(one of the best CB's in the prem when fit) must be even more worrying.
We have a seriousness about us this year and conceeding 2 goals in 6 games tells other teams that we will be a tough nut to crack

Guys that picture says alot to me as it was just not the defeat but the manner of which we beat them We totally dominated them for 70 minutes and we did it without Gerrard and Torres and Fergie knows this. The are **** all without Ronaldo. If they would not have had him last season they would have won **** all. They have not had him at all this season and it shows in their results and manner of play.

Fergi really does look like a demented old fool who has just soiled his pants now a days.

              Lol
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

It has been said on here before but if Fergie wasn't manager of Man Utd then I would absolutely love this guy for what he has done.

I still feel that horrible feeling towards the Mancs though which stops right there....

I have a lot of respect for him from a footballing point of view.
He is bitter towards us in the same way any of us would be towards the Mancs.

I thought Fergie was very complimentary to us in the post match interview. Clearly nothing hurts him as much as a loss to us, so for him to be very honest about how we were the much better team deserves a little credit IMO.
Fair play to him there defo, and he has the good grace to look like he is pissed off when getting beat as well - I respect him for that. He had a face like a bucket of piss all the second half.

What has he done though apart from make Utd a massively successful club? The one thing he has done is the worst thing he could have done.

My dad met him a couple of weeks ago at the races. Knowing my dad was a Liverpool fan, Ferguson said how surprised he had been by the Standard Liege performance: that they were much better than anybody had given them credit for, and that Liverpool had done well to beat them (sort of a backhanded compliment, but a compliment none the less). Perhaps he is mellowing in his old age (Ferguson, not my dad).

i think the point is that making a club into a massively successful club is a feat to be admired surely. and he's loyal, biased and loves his club. all qualities of a great manager.

The fact its man u is our problem not his.

Or you could just say that the man's an utter cunt and despised by all except his own scummy inbred fans.

Seriously though I wouldn't like him no matter what club he was at, he uses his reputation and stature as Utd boss to bully officials and talks quite a lot of **** after games. He also won't speak to the BBC because they wouldn't toe his line during interviews when he really should make himself available to the British Broadasting Corporation for the sake of his own supporters.

To be fair everyone who meets him away from the heat of the battle/media spotlight seems to find him a very decent bloke. He is clearly a man with a passion for his club and a temper on him but I think the fact that he has found a very effective way to shield his players in the press and influence the powers that be sometimes gives people the impression he is cunt when he isn't.
