There are some who think Lucas is better than Xabi! People's opinion crack me up as they try so hard to 2nd guess Rafa and be like him. Last year according to some we would have won the league had Xabi and Agger been around, now after one is nearly sold and the other not getting into squad - I hear silence.

I dont blame the defense, it was more the midfield. Lucas had a shocker, worst performance I have seen him in a Liverpool shirt. Mascher wasnt at his game, clearly fuuuucked by internationals and the United match.
It just goes to show how much the United win took out of the team when even Kuyt was looking wrecked towards the end. 4 days till the weekend, should be sorted out by then.

I don't think Lucas will ever turn out how we want him, infact I don't even think he is better than Guthrie. Just a waste of £6m in an area where we didn't need strengthening at the time.

Exactly. I've already seen people whinging about the fact Pepe had to make a few smart saves. FFS! As you rightly say, Schmeichel used to make strings of wonderful saves - it's part of having a great team. Great players all over the park. How can this possibly be a negative?! All teams concede goalscoring opportunities. I'm just grateful we've got the best keeper in the world.

i can't believe how anyone witnessed that performance from lucas and still believes he has part to play with us, the lad is severely limited, and he has no excuses of being tired like the other players who had a run out agaisnt man utd.
