My united supporting mate reckons he's the best in Europe. It's hard to disagree, at the minute he's surely up there. Brilliant start to the season for Pepe.

he's certainly been rock solid thus far. my bitter/manc/chav mates still think he's 'flappy' but im sure after his recent performances they may change their minds.
its good knowing that after so many years of bad goalkeepers that we have one of the best in the world. i just hope he stays round for many years to come.

I think Reina has been a little bit unlucky to be honest. In my opinion he is just as good as Casillas, but as Casillas established his place in the national team and become captain before Reina had developed into the keeper he is now it makes it impossible for him to become the spanish number 1.
He seems to be vital to the moral of the Liverpool and Spanish teams, he was the guy introducing the entire spanish squad to the crowd during the celebrations in madrid after they won the euros.

I fully agree, as an alround keeper I rate Reina much better than Cech.
The one thing that lets Cech down is the fact he looks so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet when the ball is back passed to him or if he has to rush out and play as a sweeperLast edited by Assassin; 17-09-08, 06:07 PM.
