My united supporting mate reckons he's the best in Europe. It's hard to disagree, at the minute he's surely up there. Brilliant start to the season for Pepe.

If we still had Dudek we would not of qualified for the CL and would be mid table now. No disrespect to Jerzy but IMO Pepe has been a stand out for us so far.

said this for a while, While there are a few other great keepers in the world, there is not 1 keeper i would swap him in the world for. Hate to say it coz he is a manc but the closest thing the premiership has seen to probably the best keeper of all time Schmeicel. So many similarities in there Goalkeeping. To my mind he is a cross between Schmeichel and Grobbelaar. Indeed his tip over from Giggs on Saturday reminded me of a very similar save Brucie made from Graeme Sharp.

why do you believe Casillas or Buffon are better? i believe they are all very comparable but reina's distribution is a class apart imo but maybe thats because i havent seen an awful lot of the other 2 apart from big games
