I disagree mate. A win away would be nice. But not all out attack there. Rather draw than lose especially as I think we can beat them at home. We have the team to grind a win if need be.

I would although our performances there have been a lot better recently.

There's no shame in taking a draw at the Bridge so long as we make sure we get all 3 points when they come to Anfield.

A draw at Chelsea would be fine IMO.

that and a home win means they drop 5 points and we gain 4 leaving us 9 ahead and the league is over.

We are due some luck at the bridge and hopefully Torres will be fit to play next week. Go for the win but a draw won't be too bad. We need to stop conceding goals against lower teams.

                          Seriously how bad is Dossena!

                          He's so slow it's shameful

Even my son's thinking of signing him for his 5 a side team Real So So Bad!!

When Skirtl is fit I think Rafa should consider Agger at left back:-

He's too good for a sub

Gives up options at corners attacking

I like the way he carries the ball upfield..people often back off and he has a shot good enough to capitalize on that like Fulham (H) goal

Look how he made our 1st goal from a full back position

As a fullback gives us height at the far stick defending -something I think is important and Insua lacks

                            Missed the game today, working

Great work by Xabi for getting another opponent sent off

A win next week would be nice

Kuyt was superb today, the workrate was as normal, but he looked like a proper striker today. He'll never beat a man for pace or pull out flashy tricks, but when he plays up front and the ball falls to him, he can score goals. Unlucky not to have had a hat trick, with his shot that came back off the bar.

He's now equalled last season's entire league goal tally

Well in Dirk lad, absolutely class. He's in danger of winning me over with performances like that

I think it is because we've really started to starve the opposition of possession when we are playing well, the same as Rafa's Valencia used to do. After a few minutes of chasing shadows, and not getting a sniff of the ball, players start to get frustrated and do stupid things to try and get it back.

In the first half we gave the ball away too much, and were harried out of it by an incredibly hard-working Wigan side. In the second half we started to play well and hang onto the ball better, and you could see Wigan getting more and more desperate with their defending in the build up to the sending off. Who knows though, they might have managed to hang on to at least a point if Valencia hadn't been so stupid.

Great fighting spirit from us again to come back and win. We still need to find a left back on this evidence.
