Maybe he's realised he vulnerable on the ball and can only get by in the PL by winding up the opponents.
Lighting the touch paper and awaiting the explosion, hoping he can walk away with his marker off the field.

I don't look at every thread mate.

But still, all his words sound a bit hollow to me now. Idem for Rashid.

To give rage his due but he as posted plenty of positive lately. He's not just a blind naysayer. Seen positived from rash after both the manc games as well.

But either way, why fight, aren't we better to just move on?

Can't blame them for posting less lately as they're constantly being attacked, they're not being allowed to enjoy being wrong, but their posts show they clearly are enjoying being wrong. Can't ask for more?

Oh it's not because they had differing views which riles most people but their sheer negativity and the way they put their opinion out.

Well, I don't read match threads anymore as there are too many trolls in them.

I am really bumped that I diden't get the chance to see the game yesterday, of course it turned out to be a thriller and another great comeback!

Just happy that we won, and keep track with chelsea, going to be a monster of a match next weekend!

Think we will se a few players spared against atletico on wed.

As great as the last 2 games have been, i hope we dont start so slow as that against Chelsea or we'll get slaughtered the way they're playing at the moment.

Not a problem IMO. 20 points out of a possible 24 is ****ing superb so far and we're well set. I know it's all about points but I want us to stay unbeaten for as long as possible too. A draw there would be fine, just like the draw at Villa was IMO.
A draw would be fine in my opinion too but a/ we can go there looking for one and b/ we need a better performance than the last two. Winning when the chips are all well and good but it is asking too much to keep doing it we need to improve simple things in defense and move the ball out of our defensive third better with less long low percentage balls which gift the ball to the opposition.

Out of interest (and having only watched the highlights) how did Pennant play?

Pretty poor in my opinion. Yes he got the cross in for the winner but that's his job, and he must only have got two or three crosses in in the whole game. He didn't seem to want to show for the ball, took the easy option every time. Maybe he was playing with fear and thought 'percentages' would be better than taking risks, but he did **** all really and El Zhar showed him how it's done within seconds of coming on.

He was good as he provided the assist for the winner. He had a solid game but did nothing out of the extraordinary. He was important late on when Rafa wanted to make full use of the pitch and he constantly hugged the touchline to provide that width.

In the end it was worthwhile persevering with him for this match.

I dont recall him putting in a better cross since he joined us, meaning that he created a yard and put in a cross with some pace on the ball.
