First up Pepe Reina. I've seen this a few times and i just love seeing it more and more. When we scored the winner, i somehow managed to maintain enough composure to remember to look across to the far end at Reina's reaction and it was arms in the air, then a slid along the ground on his knees in euphoric celebration. Absolutely class, acts like a fan. Love it.
And a mention for Riera, interviewed in the matchday programme, is quoted as saying:
Q
Do you ever lose your temper?
A
Yes, I have a very bad temper and if I ever lose a match I get very angry. I think about it for hours and find it hard to eat and sleep and I'm not a nice person to be around then. But that helps me to work harder and improve as a player because I don't want to lose again.
Absolutely love that, the part in bold is how a fan would feel too and it's great to see players who can relate to, and share the impact that results have on us as fans.
There's others like this too (Carra's the biggest example of a fan out there playing for the cause) but i just wanted to give credit to these two lads, because in a climate where you see players who dont seem to care that much, these two are a breath of fresh air. That sort of hunger and desire is brilliant to see
