Yesterday Honda officials including the President of A.P. Honda, Mr Chiaki Kato, visited the Club's training ground at Melwood before taking in an exclusive behind the scenes tour of Anfield. That was my original fear however I've found the impact to be almost as devastating as it is when I'm trying on tweed jackets. The looks of pure adoration I get when I pull in to a petrol station, remove my helmet and give my head a light shake (enabling my hair to fall effortlessly into place) seems to give real hope to the general public. I think they feel like they are staring in a real life L'Oreal advert and the reaction is, honestly, incredibly humbling.

It's just another way for me to give something back to the less fortunate
