Putting your wallet in your back pocket whilst driving? Definitely is a no no, I know that from personal experience and my wallett isn't anywhere near the size of Owens or Torres'.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

I agree. Why the heck did he play Torres for 90 minutes last Wedesday??? Torres was tired in the 2nd half, he had Keane and Babel available.

Why didn't he play Babel after 60 mins. ??? Is he is a naughty boy ???

On the other hand Riera was playing perhaps the best match for us in 8 games but he was substituted.

Ahh classic football forums, if Keane had of played on Wednesday instead of Torres then some on here would be ranting about him getting a game. Since Torres got injured they are now saying Keane should have played.

Cant see why how Rafa can blame Spain, when Torres played two full games after he came back from the friendly.

Becoz they took him away for a friendly when he was at that crucial stage of coming back into our team. They were out of order, It was so unnecessary. I could understand if it was a qualifier but ffs it was a meaningless friendly and Spain should be more considerate knowing how delicate thing are with him right now

                              Benitez: Torres on course
                              By James Carroll - 05/12/2008 13:47
Rafa Benitez has played down reports claiming Fernando Torres will be out of action for longer than expected.

It had been claimed that the Spanish international would be sidelined until the New Year after picking up his third hamstring injury of the season against Marseille.

However, Benitez told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Fernando is progressing and improving so hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later."

Torres, who was initially ruled out for 'two to three weeks', visited Barcelona based muscle specialist Dr Ramon Cugat in an attempt to find a cure for his persistent hamstring niggles.

"It was just to confirm our diagnosis was right and that is the case," explained Benitez.

"The injury was a relapse of the one he had before. The specialist has known Torres for a long time and he also has a good relationship with our physios who are working hard with him."

All of you will probably think I'm insane, but I really think the club and Rafa should be ultra careful with this one. I say leave Torres to get back to 110% and if it means leaving him out for 4-5 weeks then so be it.

We SHOULD have confidence in Keane, Babel and Kuyt to take up he slack. They all cost a lot of money at the end of the day and two at least have been prolific in the past.

All of them have suffered with confidance (well keane and babel anyway) so maybe a good run for both of them will bare unexpected fruit.
