If you're not impressed by his crossing then you've really, and unfairly now, got it in for him. He won't please you even if he scores 100 goals and sets up another 100.

His crossing is some of the best I've seen for a while. Another few games when he's fit enough to be in the 'danger zone' will show why. Its just a shame we don't commit players forward for crosses. When Torres is back he'll yam up those crosses.

Good work out of you! I hope you disposed of the evidence in a safe and contolled way.

OK, I am very impressed by the odd cross he has put in. Happy now?!!

Actually he did put in a great cross on Tuesday night when Ngog headed it straight at the keeper. One swallow doesn't make a summer though.....

There's a huge difference between saying 'his crossing is impressive' and 'his crossing is the best ive seen since beckham was in his prime'.

I know my football, I can tell you a better crosser of the ball you would be hard pushed to find, his delivery into the box is a ****ing mazing

He has better in his last two games, long way to go yet though.

As for starting against Hull, well Insua played very well against Blackburn so he is in with a shout too.

As for his crossing, very good - but hardly in Beckhams league!

best since beckham how many people do have great crosses on them nowadays? Bosingwa seems the real deal to me.

I hope nicey wasnt saying Dossena's crossing was nearly as good as beckhams as i would go as far to say he is the best crosser the world has ever seen! nobody even gets close in modern day football.

But he does have a good cross on him of that there is no doubt.

both are very true of Dossena! but I am a bit surprised for an Italian defender his defensive play is a bit shoddy. But if he is getting used to the speed of the game now and putting in the work rate then he can only get better. That cross of his is wicked weapon for us.

Doesn't seem to be improving at all . Maybe needs to work a little harder

                            Sorry folks

But Dossena is a total liabilty.

You can be a slow starter, you can take time to settle and adjust and you can have a few poor games, but this lad is there for the taking from an opposition's point of view.

Every right sided midfielder in the country must be licking his lips at the prospect of facing him because, quite simply, the lad cannot defend.

I dont know what he was like for Udinese but the only thing that matters for us is how he performs in red and he has been woeful.

Both of their goals today could've been stopped if he was a capable defender.

He was in a position to head clear for the first goal but was comprehensively beaten to it by McShane and Mendy hardly had to break a sweat to beat him for the 2nd goal.

Before the 2nd goal, he was embarrassingly skinned by Mendy and even in the 2nd half, by which point Mendy was playing rightback, his replacement at right midfield took on Dossena, skipped past him with ease while our Italian international left back was losing his balance and falling into a heap.

People will say 'give him time' and all that. Well yes, ideally you would indeed give him time, but title races are unforgiving and we simply cant afford to carry him while he's this poor. It gets no simpler than this: he is costing us points and we cant afford to let him.

Sorry, i know nobody wants to hear it or admit it. And maybe he will get better but as things stand, he's a liability and if it continues, we'll be out of the title race within a month. Clearly there'll be those who defend him and will slate me for saying this, but look at Hull's goals again today and tell me honestly if you're pleased with his attempts to stop them.

I've no intention of giving him abuse or anything that juvenile, but i will call it as i see it.

Sad to say it but I have said this all along. Was hoping he turned a corner recently, but seeing him today has convinced me he will not be here much longer.
