Its like anythime we lose or draw there's a lynching .. somebody must be specifically at fault and then they get ****ing pasted ..

I'm prepared to give the guy a little more time than 3 months to settle in ..Patrick Evra was a liability when he first arrived at United .. perhaps they should have got shot of him too or not played him ...

But hey I get it ... hes made some mistakes .. but surely we must trust Rafa in his signings ..the fact he is first choice leftback for the Italian National team .. perhaps we are do ones who need out heads checked
Need our heads checked because we're unhappy at dropping 8 points at home to ****e sides?

Trust rafa til the cows come home but not when his decisions are directly responsible for costing us points.

We are actually capable of winning the title for the first time in decades.

If Chelsea or Man Utd prove to be too good, that's fair enough. But if we fail because of our own stupidity/mistakes, then that's unacceptable.

It being Dossena's best game for us is more to do with how woeful a standard he's set, rather than any notion that he played particularly well.

He's shocking at the back but he crosses a ball better than anyone else in the team going on the last few games as evidence.

If he can't adapt his defensive game and if Reira's poor form continues I'd give some consideration to playing him on the left wing with Insua or Aurelio at left full.

And then we could put Riera in nets.

he was bought as a defender fella
its good if he can cross it well true but his main job is to defend
and he ****in cant in any sense of the word

Traore was better and I mean that. Shocking player who should not play for us again.
Everytime Insua has played I never feared for him and you always felt he would do a good job. The seme cannot be said for Dossena. As bad as Riise was, he was alot better than Dossena. People say he needs time and Evra needed time to settle, well Evra is blessed with blistering pace and not many beat him easily. Dossena is slow.

He will not make it here. Hopefully Insua starts next week at Arsenal.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

No that would just be silly.Putting a player on the wing when it seems he can cross a ball extremely well is not.I'd rather give the lad a chance to prove him self on the wing then sell him at a massive loss after only a few months club

Aurelio plays left wing sometimes, why not Doss?

What do we do with Riera in those few months?

Jesus thats a tough one.Let him,Doss and Babel fight for a place in the team maybe.Competition for places is good for 3 underperforming players,no.

IMO while playing left wing he'd also be tracking back and would help him get used to the english game without being solely responsible defensively on the left side.

Yeah but if we play Dossena left mid for a few months, what's Riera gonna do? Have a holiday? Or warm the bench?

                    Silly idea IMO.

                      Yeah,your right,ridiculous putting a good crosser on the wing,what was I thinking

We play whoever deserves to play,be that Doss,Reira,Babel or whoever. Its Rafa's call but given the lads crossing ability its another option, especially since Reira's crossing,or general play for that matter, isn't up to much at the moment

He is awful in a 442 but as a wing back he is meant to be a very good player. Going forward he is good however his defensing is appalling. Rafa should cut his losses and sell him in January. Should get 4-5 million for him from an italian or spanish club. Give Insua his chance. Use the money along with what he makes from selling Pennant to bring in a creative midfielder who can play across the 3 behind Torres.
                        Dare we believe

You think the best way to solve a problem of a leftback who cant defend, but can cross, is to play him in a foreign position, and to drop a perfectly good left winger we've bought, who's doing a very good job?

Yep, i'm clearly off my head thinking it's a bad idea

We play who deserves to play and every player has a role to fulfil and prove their worth. Dossena's proved hopeless as a defender, so he shouldnt play. The answer isnt to shift him about til we find something he's reasonably good at.

I know its not its just hes a better crosser than Reira who IMO,is starting to look like he all style and no substance. At the end of the day if a player has a talent your lacking then would it not be prudent to use it.He's cack at the back so far,we know that,so move him out of the firing line and let him do what hes good at which is whiping great balls into dangerous areas. Then sell him if we need to in the summer.

we'll have to agree to disagree on this cos I wouldn't sell him just yet.

But the only thing he's good at for a left winger, is crossing. He cant really beat a man, wouldnt offer much in terms of a goalscoring threat and would arguably not maintain possession and use the ball as well as Riera.

There's more to being a winger than just being high up the park in a crossing positon. A lot of the time, he wont be in a crossing position and will be required to keep the ball and use it intelligently to keep us in possession.
