I don't believe there will be any serious money spent unless we sell players. We don't have any money.

Just as i said in the first post, your choice has to be made with this consideration in mind, a 'realistic' target, but one that you believe would aid us most from the position we now find ourselves in, top with half a season to go, and taking into consideration what youv'e seen from the side so far, who can we afford that will do a job for us, & help us get over that finishing line in may in 1st place ?.

A low value for a player like Pennant can be taken as some of the funding, a few mill off the club added to that, maybe sell another player too, but realistic prices for these, who would you spend that money on?.

for the money (or lack of) which we will have for money, Owen would be a very reasonably priced purchase. Esp if we can off load say Pennant and make Voronins move permanent, that will free up to say 6 mill in transfer fees.
Realistically I cant see us making big waves.

Yes i would love that more than any player, BUT, that's not the question is it...

You can't spend the transfer kitty for January on a new owner, oh how i wish we could, but no.... a player you would sign with what cash you believe we could raise from realistic sales, added to a figure you believe the club will give Rafa, is what's needed here, lets just say a £10 mill player that's available, gettable.
