I wish people would stop going on about how much money we had on the bench today. FFS.
How much did we have on the Pitch!?!
We played a similar team away to Newcastle didn't we.
People moaned when they saw the line up but we got a result so it was ok.
Things obviously aren't right with Keane but only Rafa will know the answer to that.
A win against the Blue****e will put things right again and the Mancs still have to win them games remember.
They're not exactly firing at the moment either.
Another frustrating day in a game we didn't lose and
we are still top o' the Prem.

Liverpool are all talk, says Fergie
Jonathan Northcroft
SIR ALEX FERGUSON has risked deepening his rift with Rafael Benitez by suggesting Liverpool’s challenge for the Premier League title is little more than talk. Ferguson said Chelsea, whom his team face today, remain Manchester United’s main rivals. “I’m of the opinion that it [the title race] usually goes down to two teams, in the last month anyway,” said Ferguson. His implication was that neither of those twin contenders would be the Anfield side.
Ferguson’s remarks are sure to further pique Benitez who, on Friday, launched a prolonged and premeditated verbal assault on the United boss, detailing a litany of complaints about Ferguson, the gist of which were that his rival had been allowed by the lawmamkers of English football to place himself above the rules.
In his latest comments, Ferguson downplays the seriousness of Liverpool’s bid for a first title in 19 years. “Liverpool have had a good start and it’s given them more confidence and there’s more expectation on them now. They’re talking about winning the league, the supporters are talking about winning it and the players are talking about [it] so that’s a change. But they’ve not been able to talk about it for at least a good few years,” he said. He still expects the title to come down to a scrap between United and Chelsea. “Chelsea have experience and have been our main rivals for the last five years.”

Couple of thoughts...
Keane is the reason we play Kuyt up front on his own, awful buy that is forcing Rafa to play a man that cannot play the lone role. Without Torres we basically don't even have a half decent striker and someone should be brought it asap. Doesn't need to be a superstar.
Lucas and Babel are not going to make it. I had high hopes for both but as time goes by they are just beyond redemption. I have heard a lot of **** about Lucas on here but never commented giving him the benefit but he was AWFUL today. The ball he headed across goal was shocking, bury it you ****ing pussy!

Yes.... A GOOD support from the fans!Originally posted by Ben Tover View Postwe lack everything that champions have.
We are on the brink of breaking a 18 year old "duck". I want to rip the **** out of the team/manager too after todays ****e. I don't think one person on here today has come on and defended Rafa's selection, subs or tactics?
But really, lets wait untill the outcome of tomorrow eh? I know we make it harder for ourselves than it should be, but I don't remember us being in this position at this time of year for a long time. It's not as though if the scum DO win all their games in hand that we will be that far off them.
At the start of the season, the majority of people here just wanted us to challenge. We have done more than that. We have been level at the top or leading for the most part.
Are we not usually 10 to 12 points behind by this time of year?
We could be a LOT better off and really should be a lot better off, but as you may have noticed, I've used the words "could, should, but and if" an awful lot.# Fernando Torres, Liverpool's number 9 #

Any monkey could have predicted that we were going to struggle to score with that line up against a team that actually do know how to defend. Newcastle are **** but stoke are actually a defensive team. I couldnt bare to watch today knowing that we were struggling to do anything whilst we had Torres and Keane sitting on the bench.
After Keane scored that double into Bolton i was really positive about him and the team. And the next 2 games he has been an unused sub. I just don't understand it.
WTF Rafa. Yesterday he was a hero and today he cost us again. I just don't understand why he persists with Kuyt alone up top and Lucas in the middle when Gerrard could play there

The frustrating thing is, is that now we are in this leading position, we don't seem to be riding the bull by its horns. We aren't really setting our statement week in week out.Originally posted by EST_1892 View PostYes.... A GOOD support from the fans!

Yeah, believe me, I know exactly how you are feeling, I feel the same. If the Chavs and Scum have a ****e 0-0 tomorrow, with a couple of minor injuries to key players, then we will all be back in happy town again.# Fernando Torres, Liverpool's number 9 #

For United to win all 3 of those games, in the space of 7 days, is a big ask.Originally posted by Rigadon View PostStoke are a poor side and we’ve dropped 4 points against them this season.

Not necessarily but it would soften the blow. We should have taken three points today knowing that those two would drop points.Originally posted by EST_1892 View PostYeah, believe me, I know exactly how you are feeling, I feel the same. Very rarely when the pressure is turned up on United do they throw a good opportunity. It what makes them so hateful. That is the edge we need. The ability to seize on a good opportunity, unfortunately our players don't have the bottle.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYawn yawn yawn mystic ****ing meg.
