I'd have the manager by the throat and what to punch his lights out because it'd mean so much to me. If I was at Watford or whoever I'd probably accept it in a better manner. The fact its the club you love makes it so hard to take. I feel for Robbie, it hasn't worked out and he's gutted. Who wouldn't be annoyed? those holier than tho sorts who thinks he should take it on the chin and lick the bosses boots need to get a grip.
Sounds simular to Houllier and God. Only God went out and enjoyed himself and ate a good few pie's instead. I wonder if Keane has found the same pie shop?

I wouldn't sit here and say I wouldn't like to have Robbie Keane at my football club, I'd be a liar, but he belongs to Liverpool so it is not an option unfortunately," Redknapp said. "As a player and a person I have a lot of time for Robbie Keane. I think he's fantastic."

          Well we have a buyer......

Expect better from who exactly? The player whose not giving his best, the manger whose clearly not getting the best from the player or the Chief Executive whose not following the managers directions in the transfer market?

Withregards to Berbatov, I coldn't give a ****e. Just because Manu have a failed signing, that suddenly makes our failed signing acceptable does it? No it doesn't.

I do agree that it's not all Robbie's fault in that it was a daft signing in the first place as there's not really a proper role for him in the team. When he has scored, he's been dropped, which is daft treatment for such a confidence led striker. He has played second striker a few times but a lot of the time while Torres was out he was asked to play lone striker and he stunk at it. Although, if he had converted some of the numerous gilt edged chances and air kicks he's made, he'd probably be dong ok by now.

It's a mixture of over paying for him iin the fist place, no having a role for him in the team (now that 442 seems pretty much dead), being mismanaged and Robbie being fairly ****e.

Poor transfer. And no matter how poor Berbatov is, it makes Robbie's transfer no better.

i admit i thought he would be a good signing - its plainly not working or imo going to work now
as you say blame should be shared here but if he is going get shut and lets start again

the reason we havent spent dough in the window i heard was because if we have been gettin our books looked at for due diligence you are not supposed to spend - i dont know thats a fact that they were looked at but ....

Players can choose to be at Anfield or watch the game at home if they are not in the squad, nothing controversial about this. If you don't feel 100% it would obviously be better to watch the game at home?

Rafa hailed Keane's response in training as 'fantastic', and neither the player nor the club want to hear any talk about a transfer.

                    according to .no

I think we are overreacting a bit tbh

There has definitely been an over reaction about Robbie not being at the game. however it is a telling decision by Rafa didn't put him in the squad surely. Maybe Rafa feels it will get a reaction from Keane (his best games for us have been after being dropped) but we need him to at the very least be making a consistent contribution to the match day squad.

If he isn't doing that then we simply have to sell while a/ he has market value and b/ we can be looking for a replacement.

I think that whether he stays or not we need a targetman type forward to complement what we have but we seem to have no money. Therefore we do have to consider what is the best solution right now to improve the team. If we have a £20m player offering little you have to consider a sale whenever he was bought.

A reaction in training may well indicate that Keane has the attitude to improve but he needs to bring that mentality and form onto the pitch.

Sami Hyypia said in a recent interview that when he was left out of the squad for several games at the start of the season he often watched the games at home, nothing special that.

Seems like Keane wants to stay and the club wants him to stay, but if City offered stupid money maybe Rafa changes his mind?

I think you've missed the point about Berbatov completely.

Like you, I doubt if anyone else here gives a **** if Manu sign a failed player ( although in this cast I think you'll find they havnt).

The point that was being made about Berbatov was that whilst he was having a bad time of it, just like Robbie, his manager was sticking with him and leaving him on for 90 minutes, which ultimately resulted in him scoring goals in the last 10 minutes of games that won the scum 6 points at least.
