He's been treading water doing **** all. Would be easy to say he's past it but he is at Real Madrid so can't be that bad - all be it he doesn't get a game. He'd probably be fine as a stop gap but I wouldn't expect fireworks.

Well here's what I understand to be true about the fella, and this doesn't specifically relate to any transfer today, but apparently he can be found necking pints in his local quite regularly and even missed training recently to go out for a day of nag racing. By all accounts he's a great fella however, and I'm sure he'd be gutted to move back to london so soon. I wish it still had a chance of working for him, but it looks less likely as the hours pass.
