Your way, His way, Whoever`s way its said, the fact remains the same we have not won at old toilet under rafa. That will be the match of the season i feel, they may draw and go on to win the title but, if we dont win, well, I think it will be over for us.

We should be going there looking for the win, chelsea were shocking the other day, worse iv seen them play in a long time, the defending was unreal bad, so the scoreline has not worried me.
Anyway, not worth anything if continue to drop points between now and then. The next game is now as important as any.

One thing that does come to mind though. We struggle most with teams who play 8-2-0 against us and the mancs wont do that. Their defence is ****ing rock solid though, so it'll take a lot to breach it. Knowing our luck, Ronaldo and Rooney will have found form by then

their defense has IMO one of the best centre halfs playing today in vidic and a great full back in evra. but again IMO ferinand isn't that great and young johnny evans has not really been tested so frailites there perhaps. also, gary nevilles best days are behind him. either babel or riera should take him on time after time after time etc....

agree on the 8-2-0 point you made. we really struggle to break down teams who do that to us but as you said, manure dont do that so i beleive we have a good chance to beat them.

Not necessarily. I thought the vastly over-rated John Terry was exposed too many times against United. His lack of communication and leadership was clearly evident, no way would Carragher allow the defence to fall asleep. Again, the blame lies at man to man marking which wasn't talked about by Andy Gray and his hairy gimp in the studio, I was surprised Carragher didn't mention anything.

For me, even if Rooney and Ronaldo didn't find form, even though Rooney performs his best against us every season, they have more than enough players to win a game. Giggs single handedly bossed the midfield on Sunday night. You could imagine Carrick and Scholes doing so. We solely rely on three players: Alonso, Gerrard and Torres. If one doesn't perform, we are screwed. United don't need to rely on one. Yes, if one of them doesn't perform, they won't play as well but they still have the capabilities of winning games and making it look easy which is what we struggle on.

i voted no, basically because of the way we have drawn 5 out of the last 8 league games, we could and should be miles ahead , truly a golden opportunity blown.

i also feel that if gerrard is off form or injured , we are f***ed, we still need a right winger and fullback options.

we have seen when alonso is out, we struggle (besides newcastle)

man u must be favourites, the have a better squad imo and are rock solid at the back, even if they havnt been setting the world alight up front,.

They have the easier run in. i wouldnt back against them, for sure.

Even allowing for the anti-ManUtd bias, i still cant believe how so many people underrate Ferdinand. He's probably the best CB in the world. What doesnt he have?

                    Pace? Check
                    Strength/Power? Check
                    Positioning? Check
                    Ability on the ball? Check

People will say he lacks concentration but can anyone name a remotely recent mistake he's made due to a lack of concentration that comes to mind?

We're second favourites in my eyes.

Used to, not anyone. He's learned a lot playing with Vidic. He is a top defender. Just a prick .

A nonsence question really as titles can be won and lost in one match. Be that being dreadfully unlucky with a legitamate goal being ruled out or having a key player injured and out for a long time.

For instance, had the goal v Stoke at Anfield stood we would likely have won that match. And had Torres been injury free we would likely have scored more and won more games.

As United have just about the strongest squad and experience my money would be on them. But it's anybodys guess really.
                          Forwards.......

no way on all of the above. his positioning ios at times terrible. watch any game with him and vidic and you will lose fingers and toes on which to count the amount of times vidic has to save his ass. vidic to me is the best centre half in the world. ferdinand isn't even in my top 5.

Of course we can still win the league. And hopefully will. United have a history of finishing well, but so do we. We have Nando to come back for the latter half of the season which will make a huge difference. It's incredible how so many fans have swung from wild optimism to irrational pessimism in the space of a week or so.

With such poor positioning, he must've made loads of mistakes this season.
