Let Rafa have full control. If the owners are ever unhappy about paying over the odds for a player they can hold the right to veto the deal like they did with Barry
    Absolutely.

If there is a Chief Exec his role should be simply to acquire the Manager's targets where possible, not to question or judge his targets as Rafa has suggested.

And if they are going to be responsible for judging the managers targets, don't spend 20 million on Robbie Keane ffs

He may yet, hopefully, help win us the title.

That's a wasted post by me is'nt it, you obviously don't rate Keane so i'd guess you don't think he'll help us win it, if the price is the only issue, well, untill the end of the season we don't know if it was well spent or not, 20mill would be fine by me if we did win the Prem though.

Didn't Rafa want Barry first? I thought Keane was Parry's target?

Clearly this a well-thought out plan by Rafa. If he walks the blame falls on the owners. Its better than being sacked.

No, the above one was more a waste of time, my argument on the question as to whether Keane is worth the money not being answered till the end of the season, must have been just to strong.
