Yours offers one good thing and one **** one.

indeed sir, but I do wonder if it may turn out to be careful what Rafa wishes for. Is there a chance it could be too much for him to handle?

I really hope not, and he'll be getting help from Sami Lee now too, a true Liverpool man, and tbf the amount of work and time Rafa puts into this club i doubt if he could take on much more, so i imagine he has a plan.

As i say it can't involve him doing more work...there just aren't enough hours in the day, he'll delegate some of the more mundane parts of his job now to take on the important parts he feels he needs to add to his duties. imo.

Is Parry in control of contract renegotiations? The Gerrard saga? The Agger debacle? Why does it take so long to resolve what should essentially be a simple (by footballing standards) matter.

Interesting to see that Hicks and Rafa claim to seem eager to sort out this contract...is it Gillett who is causing the problems on this occassion?

I dunno. I'm a big fan of Rafa. And far from a fan of Parry. But I don't know if I'd want Rafa having complete control, even the best from time to time need a voice of reason in their ear, and he does occasionally have an habit of getting carried away.

I just reckon we need a better one than Parry.

...He is holding the balance of power from the Yanks in the boardroom. If he was to be removed currently, it would give one or the other the opportunity to control the directors. We saw this when he and David Moores were able to block the debt being saddled on the club directly. While we appear to have factions split between G and H, Parry is worth more present than gone.

Getting rid of Parry would be a short-term success. Managers come and go and Rafa won't be around forever no matter how much success he brings. G&H would shaft the club long-term which I'd rather not have, once there's no block

Is the right answer, although Parry should have only limited involvement in the transfers, as Rafa is mostly likely suggesting.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I would just have one comment on Mr Parry, and his transfer activity/ability.

Craig Bellamy, sold by us for (granted) c£8million, West Ham have had bids of £14million agreed for Citeh and knocked back £14million from Spurs.

Is Craig Bellamy worth £6million more on performances for W Ham than when he was at Liverpool?

Or is it down to somebody being a better Salesperson?

Or is that Manchester City are a bit mental?

                            I'll take this answer.

We're crap with dealing at times but he had 1 average season with us then we sold at a tidy profit.

How can anyone argue with that?

I don't think you can put that one down to him mate, I think West Ham actually paid over the odds to us at the time. City are willing to pay silly money for players and noone really was when we sold him.

Or the fact that we wanted rid and West ham want to keep onto him?

Take city out of the equation and dont think he would be over 10.
