One fact that there is no doubt about.

Had Keane scored the goals expected of him he would still be a Liverpool player.

or if he'd only cost 2-3M

yesterday only watched about 5 minutes but in that time he was in the box and instead off chasing down the ball he was hand in the air looking for a desicion.
Instead of putting pressure on the ball he allowed Arsenal time to clear it.
Similar to the bolton comment above.

Kuyt might not be the goal machine we hoped for but then could also argue he hasn't had the chance, but he has scored some very important goals for us, gets stuck in and never complains.
A pro player if you like and defo a Rafa type player.

Keane should of been a great signing for us, but then maybe if we watched him week in week out maybe he delivered all he could.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

Kuyt was superb this weekend and showed exactly why (even though he has his weaknesses) he's an integral part of the squad.

He came on and you could see he was doing exactly what Rafa had told him. Dropping inbetween the lines of attack and midfield when we had the ball in deep positions and then support Torres in the box when we got into the wide areas. Keane just didn't follow the instructions of the manager imo and that is a big part of why he isn't here anymore. Benitez will stand by a player who isn't playing well as long as they keep doing what they're told. Keane was simply too indisciplined to play for Rafa, Kuyt is his wet dream.
