Middlesbrough looked to have strong claims for a penalty towards the end of their 1-1 draw with United at Old Trafford last night when John O'Shea brought down South Korean striker Lee Dong-Gook

And Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock also felt his side had been denied a blatant penalty during United's 2-0 home win in midweek when Luton Shelton was felled from behind by Gabriel Heinze.
I remember both of those and they were absolute stonewallers, particularly the Shelton incident. On both occasions the refs totally ****ing bottled it.

In the reverse scenario, United have had masses of ridiculously soft penalties awarded in their favour of the years. We all get them - and we've had our fair share - but the Mancs get more than anyone, and they get the softest ones too, the most 'memorable' being the clean-as-a-whistle Jlloyd Samuel tackle on plazzy Ronaldo being deemed a penalty by Rob ****ing Styles.

It's not about not giving up danny

I do think they get the rub of the green with refs decisions at OT, no doubt.

I also think other big clubs get the benefit of decisions at home, and not significantly more than Man Utd. I certainly dont think there's a conscious intention not to give an away side a penalty at Old Trafford.

It's just my opinion and i'm prepared to be proved wrong with examples of evidence that contrast my opinion, but so far they've been few and far between.
