    FAO Aussie Reds

Just arrived back on Aussie soil after a spell overseas and was wondering if anybody knew of where to watch us v Fulham (KO 3.30am & Blackburn (KO 1.00am) in the next fortnight (just checked and it seems LFC v Blackburn is a viewers choice game??!?!) - surely everybody would choose that game!

Anyways I am based on the Gold Coast so any places that will have both games on would be amazing

EDIT: Just seen you've already posted a topic on there.
          On the Ning Nang Nong
          Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
          There's a Nong Nang Ning
          Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
          On the Nong Ning Nang
          All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
          So it's Ning Nang Nong!
          Cows go Bong!
          Nong Nang Ning!
          Trees go Ping!
          Nong Ning Nang!
          The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

Ta Matt, assume the cheers bar stays open late? The hull game will finish around 4.30am Sydney time right?

Send Marc a PM as he's out that way I think. He may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Of topic but I'm heading over to Emerald Lakes golf club tonight to watch the socceroos stuff the Uzbeckies and qualify for the WC.

Cheers is definitely the place. Your'e right about Scruffy Murphy's. I couldn't get into Cheers for the Anfield game against the Mancs so ended up at Scruffy's. We were outnumbered but we made up for it in drowning them out. The Mancs are handy to have around when you beat them!
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I watched the home game there in '07 - sickening result. Tried to chuck my pint glass on the floor in disgust (I'm not usually a scumbag) but it was plastic so the effect was kind of lost

But yeah Cheers stays open late although it's worth asking cos i remember for some CL games they just opened extra early. Watched the Athens final there

For me I've always have good memories at Scruffys. I've seen three games there where we were probably not favoured to win but got up. The Manc game, the FA cup semi against Chelsea and Istanbul. I'm usually at Cheers and was there as well for Athens. The atmosphere was brilliant that night.

It was a fantastic atmosphere - we went about 10.30 and drank through the night. I remember almost nothing of the game except the goals and I was on my way back from the toilet when Kuyt scored.

I remember a group from lfcdownunder had made a flag with 'six of the best' on it. It looked great but i was worried about fate!

Then you should have gone for a piss more often! I got there at that time. By the time of the game thought I'd get a V drink rather than a beer and found out that those little cans were more expensive than a Caffreys. $7.00 they were!!
