    Torres v Turkey

    No, he's not injured (yet).

But he'll be playing up front on his own tonight for Spain in Turkey, so expect lots of running and donkey-work. And that's the best case scenario. The worst is that the Turkey players will kick him off the park.

    FFS.

The Spain team is meant to be:

    Casillas
    Ramos
    Puyol
    Marchena
    Albiol
    Senna
    Alonso
    Xavi
    Riera
    Silva
    Torres

Riera and Alonso start too. Its a worry that we have so many players playing away in a tough games tonight.

        Yep.

Whilst it was nice to see no injuries from the weekend, tonight's games were always the ones which worried me.

Is the game on the telly in the UK? Might be worth watching.
          Oh I don't know.

            It's in Turkey mate.

I dont think any english stations are watching it, but apparently the game on Saturday was shown by a foreign station which is available on Sky Digital. Channel 795 if i recall correctly.

Not sure if they'll be showing tonight's game or not.

i don't really get this thread...torres could have gotten injured during training, he could trip on a pavement a break his arm, or get hit by a bus when crossing the road....i mean he's a fit footballer playing in an intense match, and the turks are not known to play dirty, well at least not to teams who are not their rivals.

                            he'll be fine!
