I watched the Spain game and he didnt really get kicked too badly. He had one sharp shot to the top corner on a pull back from carzola that was well saved but other than that he was pretty much anonymous. He played about 85 mins and was taken off just before the goal. There was no mention about him being injured and it didnt look it either.

I think we can breathe a sigh of relief but all and all given his lack of games knowing that he got some good match practice in two games against good opposition is a positive.
