Here's hoping Dossena produces. It's a shame Riera isn't starting because Fulham's right side is a bit weaker.

Strange that dossena is playing in left wing (I presume).

It's not a resting player decision, as dossena played for italy against ireland, so would be as tired as say for instance riera.

Sorry to see aurelio out, been one of our best players this season, when fit he defo makes us a better,classier side.

Dosser only played half an hour for Italy midweek and he hasn't played a huge amount of football for us lately.

It's still a rather interesting decision that he was picked ahead of Riera and Babel. Does that mean Babel is now only third choice on the left?

I think it fair to give Dossena a chance, he has looked decent going forward and might turn out to be a good winger, look forward to see him.

i think Babel will be gone in the summer and dossena kept as back up on the left to aurelio/insua and reira

Don't think so.

He has hardly played upfront for us this season. Even with Torres out injured for long spells we've seen more of Kuyt and Ngog upfront than MC Babel.

Looked decent playing against sides chasing the game and leaving tons of space at the back. Fulham are going to pack it, he won't get much room to operate.

We really need Gerrard and Torres to win this game with their individual ability or we'll struggle. This is a tough game against a really stubborn, tough to break, nuisance of a team with a really good defensive record.
