He needs to learn what to do when players counter attack down his wing - too often teams target his flank as a weakness when starting attacks (those that are interesting in doing such things anyway). He seems to have no idea how to use his body and is reluctant to make early tackles at times.

Always liked Yossi, he's the one player we've got to come on and manage to find a way through tight spaces be it with a pass or dribble.

Babel, bloody hell. Surely we have to sell him? The 4 of us were calling him everything under the sun when he didn't shoot

The only thing that I would say against the idea of selling Babel is that he is the exact type of player we need and his attitude in the second half of this season has been much improved. However he hasn't really improved as a player since he arrived. I would seriously consider moving him on but if Rafa sees him getting better in training then I can see that there could be an argument for keeping him.

Hm I guess. You're right his attitude has improved..it must purely just be confidence.

Compare the Babel that signed, the one that played that beautiful dummy under pressure against Derby (yeah ok it was Derby) and slotted it home calmy, to the Babel yesterday who took a touch when it was on a plate

Babel was a decent threat when he came on yesterday, i'd still like to see him stay and see whether we can get his levels of consistency up. I still think if he can mature as a player and improve his decision making & confidence, he could be a top class option.

As for Benayoun, the only thing that could see him being sold, is his own desire to play every week. I hope he stays though, very good option to have. I can never underestimate the value of a player with good footballing intelligence & decision making - and he has both in abundance.

                  Or over-estimate even.

You basically fell for Luis's good looks.

5 subs = 2 and a half minutes. Plus a minute or so for normal stoppages. Morons.
Twice this season we've been shown two minutes when chasing the game and I'd never seen so little time before for a second half. Like yesterday, them games had more than two minutes of subs.

I did think four was a bit generous though.

Yossi is a fantastic squaddie but never good enough for a consistent starting place.

If hes happy doing just that then keep him.

Babel is a dilemma for me, based on his performances hes merely average but based on what he could and should be doing it would be a shame to give up on him. I think its just his attitude that lacks.

There is not enough space for him, he's not physical enough, and he'll loose the ball a lot.
