I tell you what fellow reds, this is totally unlike the early season games where we dragged out a late win.

Today we destroyed Fulham and should have scored a hat full. We did not win this with luck, we won this with a very good attacking performance. We may have been hit and miss during the game, but we created about 9 very good chances where we could have scored.

That more than anything is a positive to look back on.

Who remembers 1993 when scum came from a goal down to beat Sheff Weds in 6 mins of injury time and ferguson and kidd danced around the field (hated that moment), well today reminded me of that but this time we were doing the celebrating. Here's hoping it will be the springboard for no. 19

We have the momentum and I can't see us let it slip now, especially if Gerrard and Torres can stay fit. We've got match winners and characters in this team and not just Stevie and Nando. Babel can do it, Yossi has proved that time and again and we've got characters such as Javier who'll drive the team on. We'll make it no. 19 this season, I'm feeling it right in my bones.

That didn't seem like the pre-Internationals Liverpool today but all the fight and spirit we showed earlier in the season was back today. Fantastic end to the game and fully deserved.
