Skrtel, and why I just don't rate him

Think I'm right in saying Drogba did **** all against Liverpool when Skrtel was on the pitch marking him. Last season he went off injured and Drogba murdered us at the Bridge. Had he been fit we would have been in the final.

Agger on the other hand always seems to get bullied ina big physichal encounter. If we were chasing a game I'd want Agger, if we were hanging on I'd want Skrtel. In any other situation I'm not fussed as both are top class players and we are lucky to have them both, as well as Carra and Hyypia.

The Skrtel we see is not the finished product and can only improve under Rafa. The key IMO is Jamie. He should learn the ins and outs of the game from the master. I dare any striker to try and intimidate him. Some times you need the fear factor and muscle power to stop the big strikers.

Over the next couple of years Carra will gradually become what Sami has been for the past 3/4 years and Agger and Skrtel will become our first choice. IMO Carra's legs have started to go a bit and i reckon he's only got 2 years tops as a first choice CB. It might just be that he looks tired cos he plays all games and with more rest and rotation he can last another 3/4 years as first choice but i have my doubts.
