    Congratulations to Chelsea, after conceding that early goal, they completely outclassed us all over the pitch.

    Maybe we can turn it around at the Bridge (it's a tall ask) but if Chelsea play like this, i can see them winning the CL...better them than the Mancs...and better Barca than Chelsea.

            It wasn't a great attacking performance by us but we can be better and we are better. One thing's for sure we WILL be on the attack in the next game, we have to now. It was just a bad game for us and Chelse were awesome, it will be the other way round next time.

                Because Chelsea don't need to play in such an expansive manner. United this season can only play in one gear unlike last season. Liverpool play better against teams who leave themselves well exposed around their midfield area. Chelsea don't have to play against us. Terry being out will mean **** all now. Carvalho is more mobile and more than good enough to handle Torres. If Liverpool were good enough from set pieces then possibly we could get something, but we never ever score from corners or free kicks.

                  or rafa could see it as a lost cause, and send out a weakend side, to rest players for the PL

                  i'd do hope we go at them at the bridge, i was hoping we would do that tonight mind, and get a couple of goal..shame it all went wrong, but kudos to chelsea, they played well and deserved what they got.

                    Send out a weakened team against Chelsea. Rest the players, they are in need of it. Ask them to prove something. Play Agger, Babel, Benayoun, Lucas (again), Dossena, Darby. They might just play than that lot today.

                      Joe, that is totally the wrong way to think man. I know we got stuffed but we have a goal and we are more than capable of banging in some goals at their place. Like I said I believe we will get an early goal of some sort, be it a pen or a free kick or something and then all the pressure will be on then. We just need to pummel their goal, wave after wave of attacks and it will come. The away fans will be awesome for us as usual and they will fire the team on.

                      Yes they can sit back but they will be under loads of pressure right from the off. As for Caravlho having Torres under control, I don't think so. Terry missing is a massive loss for them monkey's.

                          We couldn't pepper their goal in the second half. No shots at all. Tells you everything about the structure and organisation that Hiddink implemented. It was a right smash and grab today, something we are specialists at. Benitez had a taste of his medicine today and it probably doesn't taste nice at all. To have Ivanovic - yes, thats right Ivanovic, a man who looks Championship class score twice, its reminiscent of the days of Pallister scoring and Silvestre from corners - the guy will probably never ever score again yet he scored twice against us.

                          Carvalho is a better defender than Terry - don't let the press tell you otherwise.
