I think its time to bring Agger back into the first 11. Skrtel has been poor recently. His decision making has been shocking. Looked totally out of it tonight.

We are out to be fair. We have no striking options when Gerrard is man marked. Torres tried his best but our bench has no options good enough. Our defence was shocking. Arbeloa was decent but Carra never got near Drogba all game. Skrtel was nervous and Aurelio very poor. How did drogba beat two of them for the last goal. Agger must be brought in.
The defence really missed the cover provided by Mascherano. Lucas was ****e.
Riera, Kuyt offered nothing. Gerrard in Essiens pocket.
Lets just try to win all our premier league games.

I'm an optimist, but we are out. We will never score three at the bridge.
Tonight was the worst performance I have ever seen from a Liverpool side. To put it in context we were favourites.
I said before the game that it would not be the stroll in the park as everyone alluded to, and also said that the key battle would be Gerrard v Essien. What I did not see was Gerrard being dominated so easily, or the WHOLE team giving the ball away at will.
It would be easy for me to have a go at Aurelio, who should in all reality cost us two goals, but the truth of the matter is that no Liverpool player possessed the mentality to get forward and be available to the pass. I can not remember once seeing our usual free flowing football, we could not string two passes together.
To be fair I to our players, I think tonight Benitez himself was tactically outclassed by Hiddink. Not often we say that, but there you go.
As for those having a go at Lucas, you must have been watching a different game to me. Why pick on him? He was poor, but I fail to see how he stood out from the rest.Forwards.......

They were not showing fatigue. They were jsut showing frustration at an abject performance. Players bowed their heads because what ever spin they come out with tonight, they know we are out.Originally posted by Joe King View PostWill this result have the same effect as what we did to United? I think so. Players bowed their heads down and really didn't give it a go soon as we conceded. Maybe fatigue is creeping up.Forwards.......

Some of our "fans" going back to fickle newcastle style. Typical, bunch of pseudo-geordies in here.
