    Ticket scam - warning

    I know it's ticket related more than LFC related, but more people will see it here.

    This is copied off RAWK:

    Someone called AMRIK GILL who claims to live in Manchester is contacting people offering tickets. However he wants money up front in his bank account before sending them and acts very suspiciously when someone offers to pick them up in person.

    We advise everyone not to deal with him.

    Apparently he does the rounds on various forums, including Villa ones, Newcastle ones, Everton ones, West Ham, Chelsea and Liverpool ones too.

    Beware folks.

    That RAWK thread is over a year old - and the scammer's still at it, it seems.

    Also goes by the name of CHRIS HOWARD too.

              It sounds a bit daft to most of us and i'd never do it.

              But people can get very desperate and that clouds their judgement.

              I cant believe this scammer still seems to be at it, even after being caught and arrested. Unless it's someone else using the same name as a decoy.

                Was chatting to a cabbie on the way to the ground and he told me that these 4 guys had come all the way from Norway to watch one of our big CL nights and that they had been conned out of £2000 that they had saved up for tickets and the cabbie said they were crying. Horrible *******s that do some **** like this, really felt for those guys.

                    ****ing heartbreaking. Trip of a lifetime, finally saved up enough to go see the reds play, get over there and some cunt rips you off, trip of a lifetime ****ed.

                    There's some memories to savour.

                        Football clouds peopls judgement. You should see the kip of some of the fake tickets people buy for hundreds of pounds.

                              i'd put some money towards another ticket for them.
