I think you were probably drunk at the time, we won 4-0.

I always thought Mike Bassett was based on Fat Sam.

‘When Liverpool scored their second goal he signalled as if the game was finished.’ Mr F

‘It was as if to suggest that was it’ Mr A

As if? Is this the best these two conniving ****s can come up with?

although it does seem strange that he did it before Allardyce had actually said anything today. Almost as if they'd decided to launch a pincer movement on Benitez while chatting over the phone last night.
          Ferguson, incidentally, is 67.
          Is that actually the case?

          If so .

What I want to know is, WTF was Allardyce doing in the anfield road end?!?!?

Rafa was facing towards the players at the anfield road end when he made those "jestures" so how could SA be on the "receiving end" of them...

I’ve never before seen Fergie so rattled. Rafa really has got under his skin.

MISS! MISS! HE DID A FUNNY FACE!!!

              ......

In total agreement is Sir Alex Ferguson, who ahead of Manchester United's FA Cup final with Everton, piped up: "Everton are a big club, not a small one which Benitez arrogantly said. But arrogance is one thing. You cannot forgive contempt, which is what he showed Sam Allardyce last weekend." It's very honourable of Fergie to stick up loyally for his pal Sensitive Sam in this spat - although it does seem strange that he did it before Allardyce had actually said anything today. Almost as if they'd decided to launch a pincer movement on Benitez while chatting over the phone last night.

              Another MASSIVE game

"I worked out in the last five years Liverpool have spent £24 million more than Manchester United," Ferguson said. "I talked to some people in the sports technology department and told them to check it out. He is well ahead of us in spending in the last five years.

"In that time, we've signed 18 players, eight of them young ones. We like to develop our players but other clubs are maybe different. Rafa has a different philosophy from me about producing players, but that is the great thing about football. Everyone has a different way of doing things."

"I was amazed when I saw his claims," Ferguson said. "I talked to some people in the sports technology department and said: 'check that out'. I am sure I had not spent that much money. I worked out that in the last five years Liverpool had spent £24m more than Manchester United."

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Crikey From that perspective it looks awful. The only way it could have been any worse if having made such a humiliating and obscene gesture Rafa had gone to the crowd, found Mrs Fat Sam and had a piss in her handbag.

So he got the sports technology () team to work it out...then says "I worked out that in the last five years...."

...then gets the maths woefully wrong.

It's one own goal after another with this cunt.

Including Macheda or whatever his name is who has won them 4 points recently, so developing your players in the eyes of Fergie includes buying 15 years olds from Lazio, moving their whole family over and getting the dad a job in security.

Btw this is the same Allardyce who after the Man U/Blackbrun game didn't want Ronaldo retrospectively banned as it 'wouldn't help his team if man U couldn't play their strongest team against his rivals for relegation' Now that fat Samual is disrespectful, don't worry about football doing the right thing and banning a player for kicking out oh no.

Why oh why is everyone so scared of Fergie???
Don't they understand the whiskey nosed old **** is just a vindictive, bully who only fronts up to the camera after his team win.

Plus, starting Samba upfront instead of a fit Benni McCarthy is disrespectful to the game of football.

Rafa has got Fergie rattled, he is seriously worried, a week after critising Rafa for talking about Utd before the CL game with Chelsea the hypocritical **** is talking about Liverpool ahead of their game with Everton. Fergie hasn't been this worried ever, imagine the humiliation of Liverpool regaining the PL while Fergie is still in charge.

Mastercard should be starting to design the advert because the look on Fergies face will be priceless

A clip from Ferguson's press conference has just been played, without any great attempt to contextualise it, on Radio 4's flagship evening news programme.

                          Unbelievable.

I assume they'll publicise Rafa's response, if he should bother to dignify such childish sniping with one.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I actually hope Rafa doesn't respond to this - he doesn't need to. He's totally owned the pair of them without saying anything yet.

I hope he doesn't but only because the club has already launched a counteratttack through ex-players, like Man United do through "legends" like Pat Crerand and Lou Macari.

Of course the tone should be derisive.

In fact, I might offer my PR advice direct to the Club.
