I agree with you Daniel, the season ahead is very exciting for us reds fan and if we can continue our form from last season into this one we will be right up there challaging for the title come May. With the arrivals of Gonzales and Bellamy me have more threat upfront and more pace and with Robbie looking sharper each game we should put our goalscoring problems to rest and we finally have decent cover in defence with Jan, Gabriel, Daniel and Fabio which is something we lacked in the past. If we get another 1 or 2 signings in aswell we will have our strongist squad in a long long time and with a great manager in charge i can't help but get excited especially if we can sort the finaces for the stadium out which Parry hinted at last week and as we have been given a deadline of the 27th to prove our finaces or we will lose 9 million from objective one we should know one way or another if the stadium will finally get the go ahead.
If Chelsea hadn't given up with two games to go they could have been further ahead.
If we didn't have more players sent off against us than any other Premiership sides last season, we may not have gained so many points.
Swings and roundabouts.
Yes I agree. IF is a big word. But....the 'ifs' this time around are considerably smaller than they have been for some time. We're not as far off as last season's points gap suggested IMO.

Yes, exactly. BUT if we didn't frustrate teams so much then the players may not of been sent off. Most were not due to poor decisions or outrageous incidents. We frustrated teams and drew challenges out of frustration.
We aren't far off. From October we were the most consistent side in the Premiership and that for me was when Rafa was starting to finally get HIS team on the park.
