    Liverpool agree Arbeloa transfer

    LIVERPOOL AGREE ARBELOA TRANSFER
    Paul Eaton 29 July 2009

Liverpool today confirmed they have reached agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Alvaro Arbeloa to the La Liga side.
A Liverpool spokesman said: "We have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for the transfer of the player, subject to him completing a medical."

I'll definitely miss him. He was an excellent signing and a very good servant, both on the pitch and in Tapas tapas.

Good luck Arbs! Had a fantastic last season for us IMO and I will be sad to see him go. Hope we got a decent fee!

That is a very good fee considering his contract situation.

We always get screwed. Spurs paid £11m for Gareth ****in Bale and were letting go a top class International/Champions league RB for around £4m

but spurs love paying stupid money for overhyped next big things.

Arbeloa is a steady eddie with only a year on his contract,

So will he be back up to Sergio Ramos?

                        He'll never get game.
                        Oh I don't know.

It's because of the contract situation, if he had say 3 years left on his contract he'd be going for a decent fee (If Madrid would cough it up for him )

He'll play left back. Only has Marcelo as competition and he's ****.
