Also I've read on skysports that Rafa didn't want to send Kelly on loan because he was impressed by him in pre-season... doesn't really have anything to do with Eccleston, just didn't know where to put this.

With Skrtel and Agger looking like heading for an injury filled season, those are exactly my thoughts too! Kelly could make that position his own if he learns quickly next to Carra.
