What's the point in all of this debate Carheex? I'm all open to any kind of debate but **** me, this is getting ridiculous. There's so many things that we don't know and which are happening behind the scenes, so making this type of debate futile at most.

There's no harm in speculating what might happen - this forum is full of speculation. What I am debating is perfectly plausible and could easily happen. Besides, no offence but no one's making you join in on this thread.

i'd agree - had a similar convo last, i think the yanks are in the 'business minds' doing enough of a bare minimum to keep us in the top four so they can just milk champions league revenue - if we ell out of the top four they would have to sell

maybe? i don't know what these yanks are capable off - i think, and i am sure i have read this about their business track records - that they look to have something while it makes money and they will jump ship when it's not.

I think if we dropped out of the champions league they would cut their losses, sell us off for whatever they can, and move swiftly on to their next venture and ruin thousands of more lives!

I have actually wondered how come the owners can take such a risk as to not back Rafa this summer. The competition for the top four will be immense, City and Tottenham will challenge and they might succeed actually. I don't know what their back-up plan is in case we don't make it but I considering how they have acted I would think they'd sell some top players before selling the club.

They are only in it for the money, nothing else, that should tell us something.

I'd certainly hope so anyway. It'd reduce the value of the club immensely and they'd (hopefully) see any kind of profit as the best way to cut their losses and **** off.

Thats the scary thing though, I dont think Hicks would sell, he would be like a gambler and keep diging us into a bigger hole trying to fix the situation. The only way he will sell at a loss is if the club gets completley destroyed and he has to spend a dollar of his own to keep it. And the fans are the ones keeping him here so sooner or later people will have to realize that a sacrifice will have to be made to get rid. I personaly think with a couple of home games with an empty stadium he wont be long leaving, We might aswell loose in an empty stadium than loose when there full like we will more and more while these Scammers are in charge.
