I have no reason to be selective. If i cant remember you posting much at that time, then i just cant.Originally posted by Joe King View PostSelective memory. I like it.
Maybe tonnes of us are just deliberately making it up about you then.
I mean, we'd have no reason to. But maybe we just are. Eh?

In a league where money rules, I doubt Liverpool will win the title until the Americans are here and I can see them staying for a long time due to their negotiation tactics and the amount of work needed to help Liverpool progress. A stadium is a must and will cost at minimum £350m.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostMore maybes really is that.
Football is an ever changing game. In ten years there might not even be a national league. Teams at the top change all the time, Hull were in the bottom league not so long back, now they're in the top flight.
Chelsea nearly went to the wall and are now a European heavyweight. And you don't need to know how City fans think. I remember Nicky Weaver being the hero at Wembley to get them up to the second tier of English football.
Not so long back the red half of Manchester were 27 years or so without a title. If someone had told them that in twenty years (less actually) they would be level on titles with Liverpool they'd have laughed and told you to lay off the happy pills and that maybe the race scene of the day didn't suit your sanity.
My point? Things can change. Things have changed. And things will change.
All those events you have illustrated have all been aided with money. Hull brought in new owners (subsequently built a new stadium), Chelsea got Abramovich and United finally pulled their finger out and exploited Sky TV money whilst Liverpool continued to run like a corner shop.

All I'm saying is times change. So why worry about the future in these circumstances?Originally posted by Joe King View PostIn a league where money rules, I doubt Liverpool will win the title until the Americans are here and I can see them staying for a long time due to their negotiation tactics and the amount of work needed to help Liverpool progress. Ever the optimist. I bet you live in a nice countryside village where everything turns good at the end of the day.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostAll I'm saying is times change. So why worry about the future in these circumstances?
