It wouldn't get past the first hurdle

That corner was woeful from us, four Bolton players in front of goal, Insua at the back post, Carra in the middle, all the other approx at the penalty spot. Wonder where they play the corner, hmm....

i've not seen such ball watching and lazy passing in quite some time. torres gerrard and someone else all stood and watched while the ball bounced around our box.

          **** a lotta ballwatchers.

Bolton are seriously ****. If we don't win this match, I'll need to kick something.
            Yeah, at Bolton wasn't it?

Agree with the second part. Drawing/losing would be a ****ing disaster

I'd consider moving Gerrard to the right and Kuyt up front.

It wont happen but I'd play Gerrrad in the centre and Yossi behind Torres.

If Muamba carries on marking Gerrard then Yossi gets space. If Muamba marks Yossi then Gerrard will exploit it.

Now that my rant about Lucas is over....

Kuyt has been ****e too and gave the ball away numerous times, but is busting a gut. Johnson and Insua have been excellent. Insua's ball control puts others to shame. Mascherano is playing the Alonso role and is our best player for me. Riera has been very good down the left and is giving the defender a torrid time. Gerrard is completely man marked and struggling to get space but he is pulling the lad all over the shop. Carra is shaky enough but the Greek lad has won most things in the air. He's a big lad. Got caught in possession a few times but has not hid. Torres has done everything right but cannot hit the target at the moment. Should have had two or three at this point.

Gerrard needs to drag his man out wide and create space.

That is also a good option but Lucas hasn't been bad and I'm a bit worried about Gerrard being in charge of our game the way he's currently playing.
