I don't know how it works but he mentioned it in an interview about his football theme park thing he had(/has) up in Glasgow.

        Taken from Wiki:

On 4 March 2011, Dalla Valle joined Bournemouth on a one month loan. On 5 March 2011, Dalla Valle scored on his league debut for Bournemouth in a 3-0 home win over Oldham Athletic. He scored his second goal for Bournemouth in a 1-3 defeat against Southampton on 12 March 2011.

Dalla Valle made his Fulham debut as a substitute for the Europa League match against NSÍ Runavík on 30 June 2011, before joining Scottish Premier League side Dundee United two months later on loan until mid-January

He's scored at least one or two for Dundee. I just remember seeing his name pop up on the ssn videoprinter. I'd fancy netting a few in that league though.

Shame he's dropped off the radar. Was a great prospect.

Was he really a great prospect? Over recent years we've had alot of players that were supposedly good or great prospects that have dropped off the radar. It does make you question if they were ever as good as is being suggested.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'd say he was. Was it not quite a coup at the time and the only reason we got him was because he couldn't settle in Italy? He seemed happy here and was scoring freely for the Academy, especially in the FA youth cup which got him noticed more so big things were expected.

I do agree that with LFC TV showing the matches now it is easy for a lot of us to get carried away.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

My wife is Finnish so I end up having to talk football with various relatives at family occasions to avoid awkward silences. They all knew of him and had high hopes he'd make the breakthrough in England.

I just thought there were alot of youth players of that era that big things were expected of, most of whom we have let go and so far I don't think any have proved us wrong in that judgement. I guess the era of having so many televised youth games shows us these players. I don't think that the youth & reserve levels are good levels to judge players ability.

Ok fair enough,s o it wasn't just people at the club that thought he was a decent prospect.

Was there not supposed to be high hopes for his age group at International level too and we had a couple of them?
